Laminating, Framing, Plotting, Printing
Laminating is an inexpensive way to protect maps, drawings, aeronautical and nautical charts, the output from pen plotters, posters - in fact, just about anything. We use a two-sided laminate which allows you to roll, or even fold your maps after they have been laminated.
Our hot-roll laminating machine is a GBC Titan 165 and and can handle up to 60 inches wide and up to any length.
If you are purchasing maps online and would like to have them laminated, please indicate this in the comments field on the checkout page. Simply type "laminated map" followed by the name or item number of the map(s) you would like laminated. The cost of the lamination will be added to the total.
Our new large format printing equipment is a HP Designjet Z6100PS. We are able to print maps or any images up to 42 inches in width and any length. The print technology is HP Thermal inkjet and the print quality is up to 2400 x 1200 optimized dpi from 1200 x 1200 input dpi. The inks are UV resistant HP Vivera pigment inks that are both water resistant and fade-resistant.
Pricing estimates can be provided and depend on the size of the file, number of copies and the speed that the work is required.
