Laminating is an inexpensive way to protect maps, drawings, aeronautical and nautical charts, the output from pen plotters, posters - in fact, just about anything. We use a two-sided laminate which allows you to roll, or even fold your maps after they have been laminated.
Our hot-roll laminating machine is a GBC Titan 165 and and can handle up to 60 inches wide and up to any length.
If you are purchasing maps online and would like to have them laminated, please indicate this in the comments field on the checkout page. Simply type "laminated map" followed by the name or item number of the map(s) you would like laminated. The cost of the lamination will be added to the total.
We also mount images or maps on "foam core" and have various different frames to choose from.
Scanning & Printing
Our large format printing equipment is a Canon iPF825 MFP. We are able to scan and print maps or any images up to 44 inches in width and up to 18 meters long!
The print quality is 2400 x 1200 optimized dpi and we can print on paper, plastic or other materials. Topographic maps printed on plastic are waterproof, can be written on with a pencil and folded if desired. The high quality coated paper we print on is water resistant.
Pricing estimates can be provided and depend on the size of the file, number of copies and the speed that the work is required
